# Strategic Clarity in a Time of Opportunity: How MSGA and Velocity Built a Winning Game Plan

When an organization is growing, the last thing you want is to lose momentum to misalignment. That’s why the Maryland State Golf Association (MSGA), chose to partner with Velocity Advisory Group for its very first formal strategic plan — not because something was broken, but because golf had grown in popularity so quickly post-pandemic.

With Velocity Advisory Group, MSGA brought together 14 board members and seven staff to chart a unified path forward.

The results? Clear priorities, better governance, and a leadership team fully aligned around a shared vision.
