What's on the page
Ownership: Lead it from the top
Four checks, including: the CEO and leadership team own culture, not HR alone.
Metrics: Measure it monthly
Four checks, including: track voluntary turnover and regrettable losses monthly.
Listening: Hear it early

A scoring guide
Zero to four, five to eight, and nine to twelve, with what to do at each level.
Results and feedback from Velocity's leadership work
“Now associates understand themselves better, and leaders have new tools to support their teams.”
“Velocity challenged our team and brought us together in ways that have paid immediate dividends.”
How scoring works
Each check is one point. Ready means 9 to 12 checks and at least 3 in every section. A high total with an empty section is a warning, not a pass.
0 to 4: Claim ownership first
Put culture on the leadership agenda and pick your metrics.
5 to 8: Close the gaps
Use your unchecked boxes as next month's agenda.
9 to 12: Culture is managed
Keep reviewing monthly and keep listening when results are good.
